I've decided that LeBlanc Security will use something like this in their infantry rifles: www.google.com/patents/US8291828Only, it's going to be bigger, heavier and faster, with a DU tip. Say goodbye to your body armour, folks. This thing will be nasty. There will also be a full bore projectile with a miniature shaped charge, getting a penetration of about 70mm.

What kind of dimensions we talking?
Any thoughts on the weapon firing it?

My goal will be to try and equal the penetration of the TRW .50 cal flechette (2" RHA at close range), so we're probably looking at a 12 gram projectile (including sabot) fired at 1460 m/s from a 5.9kg (loaded) rifle. Caliber will be 11mm or so, fed from 60 round casket mags. It'll be a railgun, but the sabot might turn into plasma so that it can be used to drive a muzzle brake.

11mm counting sabot?
Are you seeing this as an in-house design by LeBlanc, or a public design purchased from Chan-Kruger, Ross & Hargrave, etc?

11mm counting the sabot/a full bore 11mm HEAT round/various speciality rounds.
house, derived from experiences with the Birds, who made extensive use of a chemically propelled flechette of similar ability during the war.
